We have some fun activities planned for the reunion, but there’s still plenty of other fun things to do in the KC metropolitan area! Many of them free.
There’s plenty of shopping to be done around the city. You will be staying at the Country Club Plaza which is one of the crown jewel shopping center’s in the city just across the street from the hotel. We also have the traditional shopping mall at Oak Park Mall in Kansas: https://www.shopoakparkmall.com/ . We also have some outlet shopping at the Legends, https://legendsshopping.com/, in Kansas near the Kansas Speedway, https://www.kansasspeedway.com/.
Also not far from the Plaza is the Nelson-Atkins Art Museum, Union Station, KC Ferris Wheel, Crown Center, and the World War 1 Memorial Museum.
We have our own claim to fame as one of the nation’s first homes of jazz in the historic 18th and Vine Jazz district. Explore the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum and American Jazz Museum.
